Hey there! I'm Lizzy, a 30-year-old pet portrait and wildlife artist based in Devon. I'm a self-taught colour pencil artist and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Teachers have commented on my art since I was 5, and I've been developing my skills ever since.

As an avid animal lover, it makes sense that my subjects are pets and wildlife! 

After teaching English in South Korea and travelling for several months, I came back to sunny England, having accumulated many photos of the animals I met along the way... I'm not joking, my camera reel has over 100,000 photos! And most of them are of animals and nature. 

To justify the honestly crazy amount of photos, I decided to draw as many of them as possible and share the love and stories of how and where I met each one in a series I'm calling "Animals of the Earth"
